I was contacted by a past client who wanted to purchase a gift certificate for her friend’s baby shower. It’s such an honor when past clients refer me to family and friends. I spoke to Lily’s mom after her shower and I gave her all the details she would need for planning her session. We talked about styling her session with colors of cream, purple and mint green . Her dad is a Boston policeman and we planned to incorporate his hat in a few of the images. When Lily arrived for her session I was so in love with her chubby cheeks and her full head of dark hair. She was so sleepy during her session and she loved being all swaddled up. I just adore how the image of Lily in her Daddy’s hat came out and how the newborn session coordinated so well for her album. One of my new favorite outfits is the Arwen set from one of my favorite vendors Mia Joy. The delicate lace top and shorts are simply adorable. I love to bring in fresh flowers for my sessions. I found the perfect purple roses that were a perfect compliment with the mint green fluff from Oh so fleeting .

Immediately after a session, I go home and select my top 10 favorite images, edit them and send them off to my fabulous lab to be printed. Once they arrive, I mat them and showcase them on my Reveal Wall for clients to admire and take home. I love that parents can immediately show off their printed images of their bundle of joy to family and friends.
